Well, alright, I apologise.

It's been an age since I started this blog and I really haven't kept it up to date, so here are the highlights...

beisbol

The Braves have gone 35-14 (15 when the Giants finish schooling them tonight), maintaining the best record in the Majors...
There was the trade deadline that came and went without any action in Atlanta, and it wasn't until last week that the Braves traded in Kent Mercker, one of their forer pitchers, to shore up the less than impressive bullpen.

footy

Man United failed in their bid to pick up Ronaldinho, then proceeded to beat Celtic, Club America, Barcelona and Juventus here in the US where new goalie Tim Howard made his debut.
By the time he made his competitive debut against Arsenal two weeks ago, Ferguson had gotten rid of Juan Veron and bought Djemba-Djemba and Kleberson - Cristiano Ronaldo joined the team a little over a week ago, taking David Beckham's number 7 shirt. And like his predecessor, and the two before that (Cantona and Robson), he looks like he'll be okay...

gridiron

The Falcons really have a chance this term, really they do. Maybe, with Duckett and Dunne in backfield and Vick scaring the crap out of defensive lines all over the continent there might be a 12-6 season to look forward to.

Yeah, that would be great except the EA Sports curse struck. It runs like this. The player featured on the cover of EA Sports games has, over here at least, got injured or had a crap season the year they were featured.

Vick sustained a broken ankle two weeks before the start of the season and is unlikely to be back in the lineup before Noveber.

hoops

Kobe Bryant, Eagle County, Sexual Assault. The allegation is that he puts the ASS into ASSAULT.

And so we're up to date.

Don't say I never do anything for you.
